"Mmm....mmm...good?"
A response to "finger lickin' good"
The unexpected call
The awkard conversation that led to your quarters
Little did "we" know what was to come
You on the other hand knew exactly what was 'round the corner
"Let's take a long walk" as Ms. Scott says
round & round we talk in circumlocutions
I ready to bolt and return to my place of peace
You quickly change the mood with two simple phrases
Signaling a strange, sensual chain of events
Darkness cloaks our two beings
With the flickering true blue light of the TV against our hues
The experience begins...
You catch me off guard as you take charge like a true veteran
Pointing to this drawer of persuasion, that we once joked of
I slip it on and before I can slip in...
you change the mood once again with another command
To keep this secret, buried under a rock
Shunning my innermost desires & the switch is flipped
The electricity that once flowed through enough to power a metropolis
Fades quickly as I enter the Middle Passage
I young & potent am still able to stand at attention
but the passion, the thrill is gone...nothing at all
My sentiments transfer across this crumbling bridge
And you soon feel nothing as you lay lifeless...
Ashame it is, but who's to blame?
I was merely a physical pawn in your frustration game
You interpret my "roughness" as a way to live up to my "name"
But just the same,
You don't want to be perceived as lascivious & salacious
When in fact it was you who initiated
Who's frontin' now?
Sometimes words speak louder than actions
Don't think I didn't hear the sly remark made
Among your fellow "sistas" in the place of wrath and tears
As we cooned around in synchronized motions
But what's done is done, regrets indeed here too
You're not the only one who didn't think it was "finger-lickin' good."
