One cool, fall night of "fun" and conversation
Lead to a curious observation
That you and yours aren't as sprung, contrary to previous proclamations
Your caramel irises now transparent, lacking of fascination
A sight that once scorched my own two, a burning conflagration
A diminishing flame between you and yours, beneath lies no inspiration
The subtle hints of interest and flirtation
Tender touches, endless hugs, amorous stares of persuasion
In my direction, all deserving of further evaluation
Curiosity overflows the cerebral chalice, what's your motivation?
Why settle at this plateau of complacency and borderline gratification
When you can easily reach the mountaintop if you continue exploration
Tis true, he put in "work" but is love at first sight based on negotiation
Go with your heart, flow with your mind, recognize & come to the realization
